Work Experience

Work Experience Highlights!

Midland University Residence Life

2020 - Present

I currently serve as a Student Hall Director (SHD) for one of three freshman residence halls on my campus. I directly oversee and assist two Resident Advisors through mentorship and development opportunities while they support almost 40 residents of their own. I was an SHD last year and an RA the year before that!

Midland University Admissions

2019 - Present

Currently I am an Intern in Admissions where I get to help in many ways within the office including: event planning and execution, campus hosting, recruitment funnel tracking, marketing support, social media, and also travel to shadow an Admissions Counselor. I have been a work-study Ambassador every year I've been at Midland and now I get to intern! So exciting.

Midland University Career Studio

2020 - 2021

As a Peer Career Coach Intern, I had the opportunity to help students build confidence as young professionals through learning about strengths, discovering passions, and building effective resumes, cover letters, and social media profiles. I also got to arrange and coordinate professional development-focused events across campus and online!

Education

Education + Involvement

Midland University

2019 - Present

Continuing my education at Midland has been one of the best decisions I could have made. I am on an Honors scholarship through the Howard Hanson Honors Program. Achieving high academic standing through a 4.0 GPA is something I am proud of and grateful for. I've been involved in the work mentioned above, as well as Cru (college ministry), Phi Omega Sorority (serving as Chaplain), Student Senate, Midland's Cheer Program, Student Athlete-Advisory Committee, and Circle K! Lots of involvement :)

College Resume!

Piper High School

2015 - 2019

Throughout my high school career, I really developed into who I wanted to be. I was super involved within my community and made the most of this time in life. Some things I was a part of include: Varisty Cheer, Yearbook, Student Council, Prayer Warriors, FCCLA, and Key Club! I always love when I have the opportunity to go back to my hometown because I did have such a great experience in high school!
